A spectacular large variety commonly known as the Ostrich Feather with its upright feathery foliage resembling the plumes of an ostrich. A popular ornamental plant that holds the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit for its reliable performance, stability of colour and form and good resistance to pests and diseases. Its expansive fronds prefer sheltered spot and its ideally suited to cool, most conditions so a useful plant if you have a wet shaded area in your garden. Height 80cm. 9cm pot grown plants supplied.

Growing at a glance…
Water well after planting and regularly in their first growing season. Mulch annually in spring with a good layer of leaf mound or garden compost around the plant. Slugs love hostas so you will need to protect against them.Great at the front of the border, in containers or as ground cover under deciduous trees.
