Product Details
Botanical Name: Cotyledon macrantha
Common name: Flap Greens

Cotyledon macrantha, commonly known as Flap Greens had large, fresh green, paddle-shaped leaves with bright red borders on the edges, form low spreading clumps, slowly, to about 4 feet wide. The shiny leaves are bold and dramatic in texture, and have excellent crossover value for applications where a tropical look is desired. Very showy, orange bell flowers hang down in clusters over the plant from short, upright stems in the winter, lasting 2-3 months. Excellent in full sun for coastal and coastal inland areas, and also does well in substantial shade. In hot interior areas, requires some shade. Very happy with regular garden watering, but can easily survive on natural rainfall in coastal areas. Distasteful to rabbits.
