Syzygium Cordatum: Lush Water Berry Tree for Exotic Home Landscaping

This evergreen Tree has invasive roots, corky bark up to 20m high and stem to 0,8cm wide.  Young stems are 4-angled.  Simple, smooth, leathery, hairless and entire Leaves are decussate.  Sweet scented, bisexual Flowers are regular each with many, long distinctly white exserted stamens.  Inferior 2-locular ovary has 1 style.  Edible Fruit: usually a one seeded berry ending with the visible remains of the now terminal calyx.
