Arianna Milicia, BS
Arianna Milicia is a senior research analyst at the MedStar Health National Center for Human Factors in Healthcare. Her focus is on research, as she has a growing passion for applied research and using scientific methods to solve problems within the hospital system to improve health outcomes. She has supported multiple projects funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Pew Charitable Trusts. She supports research dissemination through publications and conference presentations, including the American Telemedicine Association. Arianna holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Furman University. She is currently a candidate for her Master of Public Health in Global Health Epidemiology and Disease Control at George Washington University. Arianna has experience with electronic health records, qualitative analysis, data management, patient screening and recruitment, literature reviews, manuscript writing, and thematic coding. Before joining MedStar Health, Arianna worked as a medical scribe in Orthopedic Surgery, where she helped improve physician work efficiency, helped facilitate the medical decision-making process, and improved patient experiences. Arianna enjoys playing soccer in her free time and loves participating in any outdoor activity, especially hiking and river tubing.
