Observation - Wild Lobelia ( Lobelia flaccida) Shongweni - Southern Africa. Description: (Lobelia sp) Shongweni Small flower not more than 500 mm on a sw facing embankment in suburbia. The flowers are not unlike Lobelia pteropoda but the leaves look nothing like as they are long, narrow and toothed. I cannot match with anything
Wild Lobelia ( Lobelia flaccida) Shongweni
Small flower not more than 500 mm on a sw facing embankment in suburbia. Several (different looking) specimens seen. Narrow leaves, crests in the mouth distinguish it from other species in Pooley:KZN p 495-6. They are all much paler than her photograph. Cannot find description of subspecies so that is a guess.
