Also known as Temperate Tulsi, this variety grows abundantly and is incredibly fragrant. Makes a delicious stress relieving tea. Kapoor will flower all season long, even if you forget to cut back the flowers. And you’ll likely find little babies growing in your pathways, as it readily self seeds. This annual grows 2’-3’ tall and should be spaced 12” apart. There are entire books written about the healing power of Tulsi. It is one of India’s most revered Ayurvedic herbs and has been used medicinally for thousands of years. Many believe it is the spirit of Gaia incarnated into plant form.
