Red fire spike is an evergreen shrub that tends to produce deep, blood-red flowers in seasons of summer and autumn. These glossy blooms look like they are made of plastic, each beautiful flower about an inch long.

The blooms are the main attraction of the plant. They produce sweet nectar, attract hummingbirds, bees and butterflies all year round.

Sun: needs partial shade to full sun
Water: needs watered daily

We carefully pack our plants covering the soil with synthetic cotton securing it with clear tape, then we place them in a papel sleeve to ensure their leaves won’t be damaged

We put bamboo sticks so that they do not slide in the box and then fill the box with eco-packing peanuts or paper to make sure the plant is secure in place

We place fragile stickers visible on the box and usually ship a large amount of plants together to make sure Fedex is extra careful

Once in transit it us up to Fedex to deliver on their promises of caring for perishables. If there is any issue during transit we take it up with Fedex. During winter we add insulation to plant orders that are being delivered to especially cold states.
