A pachypodium succulent with a grayish caudex on which protrude long spines. This plant can reach a height of up to 5 ft. and branches fairly quickly. Green, almost crinkly leaves grow from its head and arms. It blooms white medium-sized flowers in spring. Found in South Africa. Available in 1 size. Plant shown is in 6 in. pot and roughly 1 ft. tall.

Care:

• Partial shade to full sun

• Water once a week in spring and summer

• Keep dry in winter; or if kept indoors and heating system is used water once a month

• Allow soil to dry between waterings; never let the roots sit too long in wet soil

• Well-draining soil; cactus/succulent mix

• Protect from frost and cold nights
