Most Stapelia varieties are furry in appearance and emit a strong odour of rotting meat. The largest species is Stapelia Gigantea, its flowers can grow up to 41cm in diameter. Stapelia are great container plants or used as a feature in any raised garden bed. Best to keep them a little further away from your living space to avoid it’s nasty odour!
