Notholaena lepigera Baker [family ADIANTACEAE], in J.B. 22: 53 (1884) (as Notochlaena )
MOHRIA marginalis (Sav.) J.P. Roux [family SCHIZAEACEAE], extends to Burundi and N Malawi/Zambia border and could easily occur in Tanzania; Roux distinguishes it by having a pinnate lamina and stoloniferous rhizome. Some M. lepigera have similar pinnae and information about stolons has not been given by any of the collectors in our area.
