    Description
    Erect herbs, pilose. Upper leaves alternate, 5-8 x 2-3.5, ovate, apex acuminate, base rounded, 3-ribbed, crenate, pubescent; petiole 1 cm, pilose. Capitulum solitary, 4-5 mm across; palea 5-6 mm; peduncles to 1.5 cm; phyllaries 5 x 2 mm, ovate-oblong, pubescent; ray florets 2 mm across; disc florets 2 mm across. Achenes truncate, 3.5 mm, black; pappus of 3-4 bristles, 1 mm.
