  • Grow in 2-3 gallon containers (larger is better)
  • Grow in well-drained soil
  • Water needs: keep evenly moist
  • Fertilizing: use a slow release, medium-rate fertilizer
  • Possible pests: leaf spot (has no major pests)
  • Overwintering: cold frame with clear poly, do not overwater
  • This native can flop if over fertilized or over watered
