#BlackAraliaPolyscias Discussion

Hey Plant friends! This beauty just arrived yesterday. She is looking a little sad. She got a healthy water upon arrival. I have never cared for her kind before. Is there anything I should know? Anything to watch for?

Dear all, it looks like some of my Fabian Aralia’s leaves are starting to yellow. Not sure if this is due to lack of light(it’s in a corner) or because it is directly beneath one of the heating air conditioning openings.

Time to repot? Just got an Aralia Fabian and this is what the bottom of the grower pot looks like.

New plant with black spots on leaves?

Hi All ! Recently adopted him from FB market.. should I repot and replace soil? New leaf on top was brown, and some little brown spots on some leaves. Treat for pests maybe? Fertilize? What’s a good potting mix/pot size?

Misdiagnosis for black spots?

Few leaves suddenly started yellowing.

Is this correct?

Hi everyone’s, My name is Tracy, my husband passed away recently and he’s had this Ming in his family for 100 years he received it from his mom in 1972. This plant means a lot to my family, I don’t know much about growing plants, he was the one with the green thumb. I’m just wondering if it’s healthy looking, because the leaves in the middle are dry and fall off but not too many and there’s a few leaves that are tinted yellow. I also would love some recommendations for fertilizer, and how do I change the dirt, I don’t want to hurt the plant or have it develop root rot or shock. Attached below is some of the instructions he posted but I don’t know if that’s necessarily healthy for the plant. Any help or tips would be appreciated Thank you #beginner #help #MingAralia
