Erythroxylum lineolatum, Antioquia expedition with Dawson White
Erythroxylum lineolatum is a species very rare in the Andean region, and looks very similar to Erythroxylum hypoleucum (From the Colombia-Venezuela border). Last May I was with Dawson White from the Field Museum of Chicago to the Antioquia and other Colombian departments. This is in the dry valley of the Cauca River. We had the fortune to find some few shrubs of E. lineolatum growing in dry forest, close to some Erythroxylum hondense.
