Found in Cameroon lower down on trees near the ground at elevations around 1150 meters as a small sized, coolgrowing epiphyte with a short, erect stem carrying 6, oblong-oval to oblong-ligulate, unequally and obtusely bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the later summer on a basal, lax, 3.2 to 12" [8 to 30 cm] long, 3 to 30 flowered inflorescence with oval bracts.
