Found in Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Guinea, Cameroon, and the Gulf of Guinea Islands at elevations around 1000 to 1650 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short, robust stem carrying strap shaped to oblong-elliptic, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the winter on a basal, descending, 4 to 10 flowered inflorescence
