Description

Greater Quaking Grass

Briza maxima

All our seed is from the latest harvest and super fresh.

A hardy annual that will give you light twinkly stems early in the season perfect to complement your arrangements of Ranunculus and Roses, gently reflecting in the light and giving texture.

Greater Quaking Grass is also a beautiful garden plant. Its softens the edges of beds and borders and give all important movement and sound as the breeze passes through.

How to grow:

I found this grass does really well from an Autumn sowing, the seeds germinated easily, growing strongly over winter, producing bigger plants earlier than Spring started.

Cut regularly to promote further stems to appear. Will gently self sow.
