A hairy plant, upright, covered in glandular hairs which curve inwards.

Flowers

Flowers are creamy-white, in dense spikes, borne in whorls, 2-lipped, flecked with tiny red or brown spots. Numerous noticeable pointed sepals.

Leaves

Elliptic oval leaf, Lanceolate leaf is lance-shaped: long and widest in the middle. Oval to long, pointed, serrated, hairy, opposite, downward pointing, 3-5 cm.

Fruits Seeds

Nut: 4 small nuts hidden at the base of the calyx.
