Description
A plant that grows between 300-1700 m on calcareous soil. Its very narrow, linear leaves differentiate it from the generally broader leaf forms of other Delphiniums. Grows on fresh, humid, north facing mountain slopes. It is a protected plant.

The petals are a vivid blue with a long narrow spur.
Leaves
Digitate leaflets are finger-like. Finger-like, divided into narrow linear leaves.
Fruits Seeds
Capsule: splits open to release numerous seeds.
