Wolffiella lingulata

Dorsal view showing several broad, lingulate plants with free ends curved downward in the water. Some plants are budding--each with a smaller daughter plant protruding from a flattened, triangular budding pouch at the basal end.

Lateral view showing dorsal surface with stigmatic secretion on tip of pistil (gynoecium). The glistening, sugary droplet appears on the stigma when it is receptive to pollen.
