Perennial herbaceous plant native to the Mediterranean coast where it lives on rocky and sandy substrates. It is a ground cover plants few centimeters tall, it doesn't fear salt and wind. Being able to be irrigated sporadically even with brackish water, it is ideal to cover slopes and to create medium-sized lawns with low water requirements in coastal areas. The foliage is covered with tiny white paper-like flowers.
