Description

2-3 m; rounded, dense crown; yellow flowers in December to June; evergreen; neat shape; protect when young, then partially frost hardy; good rains; plant in shade to partial shade and full sun; attracts birds. Grows in evergreen forests, forest margins, scrub and dune bush, edges of rivers and rocky outcrops in high rainfall grassland, from Knysna through the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal to Mpumalanga, Limpopo, Northern Province, southern Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
