Petitgrain (Citrus aurantium) Wild Crafted Essential Oil

Our Petitgrain essential oil is distilled from wild crafted tree leaves in Paraguay.  Petitgrain has a citrusy aroma, but it is more complex than most of the citrus oils, with some floral notes and a woody base.  When I first smelled it, I thought it was a blend because of the different qualities it expresses.  This particular tree gives us three different essential oils.  Petitgrain comes from the leaves, Bitter Orange from the rinds of the fruit, and Neroli from the flowers.  They are all beautiful.  Petitgrain is calming, balancing, grounding and uplifting at the same time, making it a wonderful addition to blends for diffusing.  It has also been used in blends to support sound sleep.  Another favorite oil of mine.
