They do best under low-moderate lighting, approximately 100-150 PAR, with enough flow to keep detritus off. When thriving they are relatively rapid growers and puff up their tissue. There is some confusion as to current naming, just as many other corals have recently been reclassified. The variety of colors available are a unique mix not seen in other corals. Australomussa are hardy stony corals that are easy to keep and very forgiving of most parameters. They are sensitive to bleaching due to light intensity.
