Eastern nit-grass is a plant species whose native range spans across Mediterranean areas, Southwest Asia, Northeastern Africa, and part of the Arabian Peninsula. It has also become established outside its historical range, particularly in regions of the Southern Hemisphere, as well as in some temperate zones in the Northern Hemisphere.
