Red hemp-nettle is native to temperate regions across much of Eurasia. Its indigenous range spans from Northern Europe to Central Asia, inclusively within both Mediterranean and broader continental climates. Beyond its native territories, red hemp-nettle has been introduced to parts of North America, Australasia, and the North Atlantic region, where it has established localized populations.
