Scilla sardensis (syn. Chionodoxa sardensis), a late-winter to spring-flowering bulb native to western Turkey. Its flowers are usually a, overall mid-blue shade, without the white eye of the common. Glory-of-the-Snow (Chionodoxa luciliae) and Chionodoxa forbesii. It is also a rather more robust plant, with flower heads that can be over 30cm tall scilla-2491htm'>Scilla.
