Common Name Millar's Diaphananthe [South African Orchid Enthusiast early 1900's]

Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]

Found in eastern Cape and Natal States of South Africa in coastal forests on twigs and branches at elevations of sea level tp 200 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying, 3 to 10 linear-lorate to linear-oblanceolate, unequally bilobed apically, rounded lobes, bright green with darker venation leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on usually several, pendant, from below the leaves, to 1.4" [6 cm] long, 7 to 18 flowered inflorescence.
