Siberian Culver's Root is native to temperate Asia where it grows on slopes below 8,000' elevation. We know it as a stately, architectural perennial that is easy to grow in any average garden. Upright leaf stalks rise to 5' tall before they are topped by candelabra-like spikes of pale lilac flowers in late summer. Think of this plant as a very tall version of the more commonly known Veronica.
