Comments

Blooms March-May. Large heart-shaped leaves provide dense cover. Unusual flowers are good conversation pieces, but usually hidden by foliage. Larval host: Pipevine Swallowtail butterfly; caterpillars may devour leaves but vine recovers quickly.
