  • Stunning plants.  Survives wet winters here in Nova Scotia, but benefits from shelter and gravel mulch (it has a deep taproot; be sure base of crown does not become exposed) and must have excellent drainage.  Exceptionally lovely when complemented with dark purple and light yellow companions.
