Hydrilla (waterthyme) is a genus of aquatic plant, usually treated as containing just one species, Hydrilla verticillata, though some botanists divide it into several species. It is native to the cool and warm waters of the Old World in Asia, Africa and Australia, with a sparse, scattered distribution; in Australia from Northern Territory, Queensland, and New South Wales.[1][2][3]

The stems grow up to 1–2m long. The leaves are arranged in whorls of two to eight around the stem, each leaf 5–20 mm long and 0.7–2 mm broad

I set the image as a background on my Big TV, but the image was still too large to fully display so only part of it is showing. Still a pretty interesting appearance though, it reminds me of looking through the microscope with a limited field of view...

I hold the original slide of the specimen as a frame of reference in regards to the size of the Image. The HD image (linked towards the beginning of this post) is nearly 1GB in size

If you lower the resolution in the software the framerate goes up
