Silphium perfoliatum (Cup Plant)

A flowering perennial with tall, thick stems and cup-like leaves that can hold water around the main stem. Yellow, sunflower-like flowers bloom early to mid-summer. Prefers full sun to part sun and grows 4-10 feet tall.
