Today I happened to meet Edwin Vandervossen, the son to Herbert Vandervossen, the man who introduced coffee breeding ni Kenya and whose efforts led to the development of the most sort after coffee variety in the country, Ruiru 11, whose resistance to berry blight and coffee rust has stood the test of time, 38 years since its release.....
