Description
It grows up to 1 m in height. It has a creeping, overgrown rhizome, with stolons. The stem is boiling, in the lower part it takes root. Stem pairs of leaves grow at the base, the ground leaves narrow into a long stalk. Sheath leaves as long as the diameter of the head, the cup with 4 bristles, the leaves of the outer cup round and bare. It grows in the lowlands on marshy meadows.
