G. versicolor is a mounded, clump-forming, semi-evergreen perennial with lobed, toothed, light green leaves, occasionally marked with brown, and, in late spring and sporadically until mid-autumn, loose clusters of white, funnel-shaped flowers with magenta veins.Hairy leaves of pale green with strong internodal blotches; small, strikingly rose-penciled, white flowers with notched petals.
