Distinguishing features

A perennial subshrub to 1 m high; stems covered in whitish hairs. Leaflets 3, 7-28 mm long, small adpressed hairs usually present on lower surface. Flowers orange-yellow to yellow streaked with red. Pod to 7 mm long, + curved beak 2-4 mm long which is covered in short hairs. Seeds 1-2 per pod.
