A friend asked me to look at some flowers he hadn't seen before in the south Pennines. I've had a good look in Francis Rose and all the ID features seem to be in the attached photos. It doesn't look like Danish (C. danica) or English Scurveygrass (C. anglica). Is there another confusion species I'm overlooking? Danish Scurveygrass grows on the roadsides very close (2-300 metres) to these plants, but it always seems to keep very low and is nowhere near as large as theses plants.
