Summary 2

A spreading tussock with large spread seed heads similar to windmill grass (Chloris truncata) but larger with ‘spokes’ (racemes) which may be held at different angles from the centre. Large seeds spread alternately along the raceme.
Dead leaves on the plant are curly, distinguishing it from similar grasses including the common weed Chloris virgata.
