Dark Blue Dark Bee Delphinium or Larkspur has spikes of dark blue flowers that have black centers. The flowers arrive in June through August. This variety grows to a height of 18 in. to 20 in. and has a very sturdy stem, so no staking is needed unlike other delphinium varieties. Deer tend to avoid these but they attract humminbirds and pollinators.
