This sundew has long thread-like leaves, which gives this plant its common name, dewthread. Long thin leaves slowly rise, standing tall and proud. Small drops of nectar glisten ever so slightly, reflecting the sun's rays and enticing insects to taste its sweet offerings. By the end of summers, the plant is flecked with trophies of its conquests. In winter, the plant will die back and form a resting bud sitting at soil level. Growth will resume in mid-spring.

    Great little plant

Posted by Tim N on June 12, 2017

Ordered and this shipped as scheduled according to the site's shipping policy. It showed up in a box marked Live Plants and was well packaged. After removing the tape and cups and protection, I watered it and put it in the sun in the pot it was shipped in. It started getting dew within a couple days. Within a week, I replanted along side some VFTs I have and it has done really well over the past month. It's catching a lot of little bugs. Next, I'll look to add a small saracenia to my collection.

    Sundew

Posted by Amanda Stone on May 8, 2017

My 8-year-old daughter is obsessed with carnivorous plants. When the sundew arrived it was dormant, but within a few days it looked great. After about a month, it's around 4 inches tall and looks very healthy. My daughter loves it and wants to add other sundews to her collection. I would definitely order again.

    Awesome

Was not super excited about this but as my first sundew to add to my collection I have had a lot of fun watching this grow and catch everything that flys near it. I actually had to move it to a separate location in my yard because it was catching all the food for my fly traps! Turned out to be one of my favorite plants.

I was a little worried about shipping sundews, but SNW pack their plants so well that the plant arrived stress free. I put them in my bog and both have taken off growing like crazy.

    Still growing strong

Posted by Chengxue Lee on June 2, 2016

Arrived in very good condition and continues to flourish weeks later. The plant is very healthy, although. For those thinking of buying one, note that it's arms do grow long, about 6 inches in length and have a tendency to spread in all directions. So for those that have limited windowsill space, this might be a spacing concern.

    Unexpectedly awesome

Posted by Brian Jones on June 2, 2016

Wasn't that excited for this plant when I ordered but now one of my favorites! New leaves unfurl almost daily and the colors are amazing. This thing is a mosquito and gnat catching machine! The long leaves can't open fast enough before they are coated with new insects. An exceedingly impressive plant that photos don't do justice
