Felicia ameloides or the Blue Marguerite is a bushy but spreading evergreen perennial that is sometimes grown as an annual in cooler climates.
It has roundish green aromatic leaves and showy, bright blue daisy type flowers with yellow centres borne on slender stalks for most of the year.
An excellent border plant that is very attractive to butterflies, but goes best in warm and dry climates as it dislikes wet soils and humidity.
It will bloom from spring to autumn in climates where summers are not baking hot, otherwise the summer heat will cause the blooms to retreat until it is cooler.
