Achillea tomentosa or the Woolly Yarrow is a dwarf species of Yarrow that is easy to grow and perfect for rockeries because of its spreading habit and fuzzy olive-green leaves which form a dense mat.
The bright canary-yellow flowers form domed clusters at the top of a straight stem.
They are a perfect perennial for hot and dry locations and will provide plenty of dense colour throughout summer.
They are very well suited to rock and Alpine gardens, go well in containers and attract butterflies.
