Jovellana sinclairii

Small shrub on cliffs, stream sides and forest margins. From East Cape south to northern South Island. Slender sprawling branches that re-root. Soft broad yellow-green leaves, coarsely toothed 2-8cm. Branching flower heads rise above the stem tips. Flowers 1cm wide with fused petals in a 2-lipped cup-like form. White with purple spots inside. Mid spring through summer. In gradual decline.
