If you don't know which Eucalyptus to choose, you can't go wrong with this one! It is a gold star species. Absolutely a favorite among florists and gardeners who grow it for the blueish color and beautiful fragrance. This is a great variety for the smaller garden plot and could also be grown in a large container. It can be what you like; a small tree or bush, or keeping them long wands for cuttings. It is easy to prune, so can be kept under control easily. Excellent for flower arranging, fresh cut and preserving. A cluster of long 4 foot wands regrows after pruning, bearing spiral whorls of round, silvery blue-green leaves. Very ornamental material for arrangements. Will grow into a handsome, small tree if left unharvested, a 20 foot mature tree. Occasional pruning is recommended to direct the plant's form and to encourage the decorative new foliage. Likes well draining soil and sun. Can grow in almost any depleted soils. Grow just for the fragrance alone! Germination tested rate is 84%
