Beautiful plant bearing small purple-pink flowers held on spikes at the tops of tall, elegant stems. Blooms July thru September. The foliage is a lovely purple-green, with an almost metallic sheen. Thrives in full sun and is a magnet to pollinators like bees, moths and butterflies. Moist, well-drained soil. 40” tall x 30” spread. Perennial in USDA Hardiness Zones 4-9.

Seed sowing instructions. These perennial seeds germinate very irregularly over a long period. Lower temperatures of less than +5°C [41°F] are very effective. Seeds need darkness to germinate. Seeds can be sown in warmth and if no germination in 2 weeks, chill in the refrigerator for 2 weeks then return to warmth.
