Rhipsalis baccifera, the Mistletoe Cactus, is a fascinating plant, and has the distinction of being the only cactus naturally occurring outside the Americas! A low- maintenance plant that grows fast and will make a stunning addition to your collection.

We have 2 available options, either (3)4-6” strand cuttings, or a rooted plant that is, at minimum, the size of the plant in the 4th picture.

These fully rooted plants are pictured (pictured in image #4) in a 3” pot, and will be the minimum size plant you will receive. Your new plant will be wrapped carefully and shipped bagged (not in a pot), in order to minimize potential damage and shipping costs.

“Mosses grow in many different environments, from cold snowy mountains to baking hot deserts. Different species have adapted to survive in extreme conditions. Studies have shown that the lowest temperature they can photosynthesise (turn energy from sunlight into food) is around -15ºC and the highest is around 40ºC. In hot environments like prairies or deserts, one that mosses tolerate heat is by becoming dormant (dried out). Some mosses have even been known to survive temperature highs of 100ºC and lows of -272ºC. That's a resilient little plant right there!”

This plant is smaller than I expected, but I repotted it right away and it is happy! In a sunny locations and when it is a bit larger I will hang it up. It is a lovely plant and I was happy to find this seller! THANK YOU.
