Germination Instructions
Sow indoors. Surface sow onto moist well-drained seed compost. Press seeds into soil, do not cover with soil. Propagate. Ideal temp. 20-30°C. Germination takes 5-21 days, but can be erratic. Transplant once seedlings are large enough to handle to 8cm pots. Grow on in cooler conditions. Acclimatise and plant out once danger of frost has passed with 30cm spacing. Can be sown directly May-Jun. Sow in Sep. for flowering the following year.
Growing Instructions
Prefers sandy soils in full sun. Requires little attention.
Cultivation Instructions
Cut back after flowering to prevent self-seeding. Clumps may be divided in spring.
