Linaria aeruginea, 'Neon Lights'

Toadflax

Linaria aeruginea, 'Neon Lights'
Price: £2.60
Perennial that will flower in its first year from sowing
This is a fun plant for all the family! It is a lovely little plant with attractive, narrow, bluish-green foliage which with no trouble at all - well not too much - will give you from May to August little spikes of flowers just like cheerful, playful, juvenile, long-spurred Snapdragons. As suggested by the name, these come in a wide range of brilliant colours, mostly bicolored such as pink with purple, violet with purple, yellow with orange and white with red. Good for the rockery, edge of the border, great in little pots and blooms the first year from seed. What more could you want? 8ins (20cm)

Can be sown directly May-Jun. Sow in Sep. for flowering the following year.

    Growing Instructions

Prefers sandy soils in full sun. Requires little attention.

    Cultivation Instructions

Cut back after flowering to prevent self-seeding. Clumps may be divided in spring.
