Covers families 71 through to 170 [Sterculiaceae to Gramineae]. Including, of course, the large families of Euphorbiaceae, Papilionaceae, Rubiaceae, Compositae, Acanthaceae, Commelinaceae, Liliaceae, Orchidaceae & Cyperaceae. There are useful diagnostic keys to genera, and easily read descriptions. The Volume Two was titled The Flowering Plants of the Anglo-Egyptian Sudan.
